We want to provide the care that as many pets as possible need and charge the most affordable premium. Therefore, we had to set a limit and only accept pets up to the age of 7. We did this to keep the premium low for everyone from the start. Additionally, it is also legally not allowed to insure conditions that existed before enrollment, so it is advisable to insure your pet before their 7th year.
Pets that are insured with PetSecur before their 7th year will remain insured after their 7th year for the same conditions. The broad coverage of PetSecur also applies to older dogs and cats.
